Dabou Park is a haven of peace in the heart of the town of Dabou. It offers a calm escape from the bustle of everyday life, where visitors can recharge and reconnect with the natural beauty around them.
Dabou Park was built in honour of Côte d’Ivoire’s first president, Félix Houphouët-Boigny. The monument at its centre represents the mistreatment of the Ivorian people by colonists during the colonial era, which was brought to an end with the arrival of President Félix Houphouët-Boigny. It also traces the history of Dabou, which hosted some of the first colonists to settle in Ivorian territory.
Whether for a day of outdoor relaxation or an immersion in natural beauty, Dabou Park offers a refreshing experience for nature lovers of every age.
